Assistants in Nursing

Plenty of opportunities exist for Assistants in Nursing to work in Aged Care Facilities, Home & Community Care, disability care and Hospital nursing.

Requirements

  • Full Driving Licence
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged Care
  • Working with children check
  • Police clearance check

We welcome:

  • Overseas nurses on a working holiday visa
  • Student visa holders wishing to work as Assistants in Nursing (with relevant qualifications)
  • Nursing undergraduates (currently studying in Australia)
  • Nurses waiting to obtain their registration with AHPRA

Disability Support Workers

We have work available for experienced Disability Support Workers throughout Sydney and remote areas of NSW. We offer flexibility, enabling you to choose the days and shifts you want to work. Requirements:

  • Full Driving Licence (must be comfortable driving a van)
  • A reliable vehicle is advantageous to get you to and from work
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Working with children check
  • Police clearance check
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in the disability field
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Disabilities or Aged Care is preferred

Registered Nurses/Endorsed Enrolled Nurses

Whether you are a General, Mental Health or Disability trained Registered Nurse, PCAA can offer you casual shifts in Hospitals (Private & Public), Disability Group Homes & Aged Care Facilities. Hospital opportunities for Registered General Nurses:

  • Surgical, Medical
  • Acute Care (ICU, CCU, Emergency Department etc)
  • Palliative Care
  • Operating Theatre Nursing
  • Midwifery (experienced midwives)
  • Paediatrics (NICU, SCBU)

To be eligible to work in Australia as a Registered Nurse you must have current registration with AHPRA.
